What it is
Measure Your Space is an intuitive, end-to-end room scanning, measurement and estimate experience available now in the Lowe’s iOS app.
Unlocking the power of spatial data for informed decisions
Spatial data plays a pivotal role in home improvement, steering projects and influencing product choices, from paint to flooring and appliances to ceiling fixtures.
Data about our spaces and homes drives decisions across various projects, from choosing the right flooring to picking suitable appliances or getting the right amount of paint.
However, obtaining these measurements has historically been a friction point, often challenging to capture with necessary accuracy.
Built in-house by Labs
Measure Your Space leverages Apple’s RoomPlan which uses a device's sensors, trained ML models, and RealityKit's rendering capabilities to capture the physical surroundings of an interior room.
Lowe’s customers with an iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max or iPad Pro with LiDAR Scanner will now see a new feature inside the Lowe’s mobile app.
On select flooring product pages, you’ll be greeted by a Measure Your Space button.
Tapping this will open up your phone’s camera, guide you to scan and create a floorplan, and get a pricing estimate.
